Research Interests
- Thermal barrier coating: My research aims to enhance the high-temperature phase stability and oxidation and corrosion resistance of TBCs by developing advanced top coat materials and bond coat architectures to enhance the service for prolonger duration.
- Supercapacitor: Developing high-energy-density supercapacitor by designing advanced electrode materials with enhanced conductivity, surface area, and electrochemical stability for long-term cycling performance
- Ceramics: My research focuses on the development and characterization of advanced ceramic materials with tailored microstructures and multifunctional properties for structural, electronic, and energy applications, emphasizing thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical inertness.
- High-Temperature Materials: Research is aimed at designing and optimizing materials capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, focusing on their mechanical integrity, phase stability, and resistance to creep, oxidation, and thermal fatigue in demanding environments such as aerospace and power generation.
- Corrosion: This work involves understanding corrosion mechanisms in harsh environments and developing novel coatings, alloy compositions, and surface treatments to improve the corrosion resistance of materials used in energy, marine, and high-temperature applications.
